Security Levels

There are many levels of security specifications, enough to produce a whole web site about! So for simplicity we shall break them into two main categories:

Bandit or Physical attack

Typically Bandit or Physical attack standards refer to the ability to withstand a physical attack using non firearm weapons for a given time period.

Ballistic or Firearm Attack

There are many grades of firearm or ballistic attack, as you can imagine the power of a hand gun is very different to that of a shotgun. The British Standards publish specifications for glass and recommend construction materials and techniques to offer the best protection. Our counters and screens adhere to, and in many cases, exceed these specifications.

However, we advise our customers to check with their insurance company as to the specific requirements for their application.
